We hold the following events on Sundays regularly from September to June:

Second Sunday of the Month - Eating Meeting after Meeting for Worship.
Third Sunday of the Month
- Healing Group from 12:00 -3:00 P.M.
Last Sunday of the Month
- Meeting for Worship for Business from 11:30 A.M. until

The following occur regularly throughout the year:

First and Third Tuesdays - Light Meditation Group meets at 7:30 P.M. at a Friend's home.
Every Thursday
- Sewing Group from 10 A.M. to Noon.
Last Tuesday of the month - Book Group meets at 6:30 P.M. in the Schoolhouse.

Every Thursday - Friendly Bible Study from 7-8 P.M. in the Schoolhouse.

Special events:
Stone Soup Sunday - On the second Sunday of March, everyone contributes
                                  ingredients to the soup served and there's a collection
                                  for funds for Right Sharing of World Resources).

Lenten Service - We invite people from the other churches in Downingtown to a special
                           Lenten Service and light luncheon afterwards in the Schoolhouse.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Every Easter morning during Meeting for Worship, our children
                                         gather at a nearby Friend's house to hunt for filled Easter Eggs.

Ice Cream Social - On the second Sunday of June, as part of our recognition of all the fine
                            work our teachers in our First Day School have done throughout the
                            year, we hold a special outdoor Eating Meeting, featuring homemade
                            ice cream.

Friends Fall Festival - We hold our annual Friends Fall Festival on the second Saturday
                                   of October
from 9 A.M.- 4 P.M.

These events occur during the holiday season:

First Sunday of December - The annual trek to cut down our Christmas tree.

Second Sunday of December - Our First Day School presents the Nativity Program
                                                        at the rise of Meeting for Worship.

Sunday Before Christmas - Christmas With Downingtown Friends, our annual
                                           Christmas Program
begins with caroling at 6:30 P.M.,
                                           followed by a program of songs and readings in our candle
                                           lit Meeting House.
